In continuation of my letter of the 7th. instant,
No, G.P.0.473/12. concerning the seals on bags from
your London Office; I have the honour to forward for
your inspection the seals of the 3 outer bags of your
despatch of May, 24th. via Siberia, and the seals of the
three registered bags which were enclosed.
The strings from two of the registered bag seals
was drawn out with exceptional case, and the lead seals
themselves showed slight signs of a second pressure
having been applied.
Your despatch of May 22nd. is not yet to hand. The
Friday mall now arrives here as a rule ahead of that
despatched on the previous Wednesday.
